Michelle ‘Mickey’ was born and raised in Kansas, and her passion is supporting those in our armed forces. She is the eldest of three and graduated from DeSoto High School in DeSoto, Kansas. Mickey is a civilian, business professional, wife, mother, volunteer, and advocate for giving back to our military community.

Mickey has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Baker University, presently serves as an officer of The Yarco Companies, has served as a Board Member for EPN (Employment Practices Network of Kansas City), presently serves as the State of Missouri Employer Outreach Director for ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserves), maintains her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) and Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from the Society of Human Resource Management SHRM), has been the recipient of the Johnson County Court Appointed Special Advocate of the Year award and has recently received ESGR’s James M Roche Spirit of Volunteerism Award.

Mickey entrusts in the power of giving and positive affirmation and believes supporting our military community and their families is paramount to the continued success of Operation Uplift.
